Internet Speed Test (the "Service") takes users' privacy seriously and processes personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Service does not provide account registration and does not collect direct identifying information, such as users' names, email addresses, or telephone numbers, as account information. However, some information may be processed automatically during use of the Service to measure internet speed, operate the Service, analyze statistics, and provide advertisements.

The Service does not create user accounts and does not store internet speed test results in user accounts or as measurement history on its servers.

Measurement results are displayed in the current browser session.

2. Purposes of Processing

  • Analyzing Service usage and performance
  • Identifying Service errors and security issues
  • Providing advertisements and measuring ad performance

3. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services to provide its functionality.

Cloudflare

During an internet speed test, the user's browser may communicate directly with Cloudflare's measurement infrastructure.

In this process, Cloudflare may process the IP address, network information, and connection information necessary for measurement.

The Service may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor site usage and performance.

Information processed by Cloudflare is subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Google AdSense

The Service may use Google AdSense to provide advertisements.

Google and Google's advertising partners may process the following information for purposes including ad delivery, ad personalization, measuring ad performance, and fraud prevention.

  • Page visit information
  • Ad impressions and interactions with advertisements

Information processed by Google is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

The Service operator does not create or store separate measurement histories.

The language setting stored in the browser may remain until the user deletes browser data.

Retention periods for information processed by third-party service providers, including Cloudflare and Google, are governed by each provider's privacy policy and service policies.

Information may be deleted or anonymized after the processing purpose has been fulfilled or the period required by applicable law has ended.

6. International Processing of Personal Information

Cloudflare and Google are global service providers, and users' information may be processed through servers or service providers located outside the Republic of Korea.

The types of information processed outside the Republic of Korea, the purposes of processing, and the retention periods may be determined by each provider's privacy policy, contracts, and service policies.

  • Cloudflare: service delivery, network measurement, security, and usage statistics
  • Google: ad delivery, ad measurement, personalization, and fraud prevention

7. User Rights

To the extent provided by applicable laws, users may request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction of the processing of their personal information.

For information not held directly by the Service, users may need to submit a request directly to the provider that processes the information, such as Cloudflare or Google.
